To trash or not to trash?
Then, when all the glitz and glam is over... TRASH THE DRESS! Yes that's right. Throw on your perfect wedding attire that you were too scared to dirty or ruin on your big day, and trash it!
I'll take you on location wherever you like; get soaked at the beach, get dirty at a farm, take it to the mechanic and get greasy! It will take courage at first, but you will get crazy, over the top, ridiculously smashing pictures.
Trash the dress is quite like a fashion shoot, and a great chance to get dirty (in every sense) that you wouldn't do on your wedding day. Team it with accessories and shoes you would NEVER wear on your wedding day. Get colourful and splash some bright paints all over.
This is not for everybody, so you can tone it down a tad if you like. But if you don't want to just hang it up, tear it up!
Before it all.
The pre-wedding photo shoot; an opportunity to not only get some great photos to use for your guest signing canvas, or even for thank you postcards, but it is good practice for the camera-shy type. It gives you both a chance to let go of those "fake smiles" and fears of awkward poses, so your wedding can be more enjoyable!
This photo shoot is included in any wedding package you choose, and is held in the studio 2-4 months prior to your wedding.

We all know that kids see the world on a different level. Sometimes you need to sit on the floor, and realise how different it all is.
As a photographer, i do just that. I sit on the floor, at their level, and go back to being a kid for a little while. This is how I capture the excitement and comedy of everything they see. At this stage, i'm just a kid with a camera.
Kids grow up so fast, that you forget those funny and silly things they used to do and all the face expressions they own. There are many chapters to a childhood story that you can have captured.

Some of us know how difficult it can be being photographed, but even fewer don’t realise what to expect in a shoot.
Here are some simple and effective things to keep in mind when coming in for your photo shoot:
LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION.
First and foremost, be yourself. It’s not just about “smiling for the camera”, it is about feeling relaxed and natural, interacting with your family/partner/children/friends that will result in a beautiful photo. The spotlight will literally be on you, but there is no audience to make you freeze up so leave your worries and nerves behind, and enjoy the experience.
DRESS CODE.
When doing a studio photo shoot, dressing up, or even down, is great if you feel as good as you look. Whether it's formal wear, lingerie, nude, or even your favourite jeans and a t-shirt. You may have a unique and quirky style you want to stick with, or a conservative style you want to make edgy or sexy, the trick is to own it.
From a photographer's view, there are a few do's and don'ts when styling your own photo shoot:
DO wear fabulous bright & bold colours, this works well with colour and black & white photos
DON'T be the only person wearing attention grabbing colours if others will be wearing white
DO have a theme with group photos and family photos, such as denim and black, black and white or similar tones
DON'T wear anything that you feel uncomfortable and not yourself in, remember you will be doing a variety of poses
DO feel free to bring in a few extra items if you can’t decide on your own.
DON’T forget any accessories you may want to wear, including shoes, hats, jewellery etc.
And ladies, DO wear the correct underwear for the outfits you have chosen!
HAIR & MAKE-UP.
It is always a good idea to bring your own products if you need to touch up your makeup or hair, eg. Lipstick/gloss, hairspray, bronzer etc.
The best advice I could possibly give you in regards to doing your makeup for a studio photo shoot, is to avoid using any skin products before the shoot that contain an SPF content, especially foundation, as this will reflect light and make you appear shiny or pale.
It is your personal choice to get your hair and/or makeup done professionally, a spray tan, nails and any necessary hair removal before the shoot.
If we are providing you with a professional hair stylist and make-up artist, be sure to arrive at the studio with clean, dry hair and a fresh, moisturised face with NO makeup. NOTE: Hair stylist and make-up artist are available for glamour and modelling portfolios only.
